Finally arrived after a long wait! The packaging is perfect and everything came intact with all the parts included. I’ve got about half of it assembled so far, and the gears run smoothly after some fine-tuning. You really need to pay attention to the details during the build, but I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing piece once finished!

Spent around 13-14 hours assembling the main unit. A few tricky spots where directions can be confusing, but all in all, it’s not that hard—just go slow and it’s easy to finish.

I think of Steve Irwin every time I see a manta ray :( That said, they are beautiful, graceful creatures and I have to say I like having a moving, steam punkesque rendition of one. Never mind I grew up watching the Bionic Woman and the 6 Million Dollar Man, so there's that.

Anyway, all told it took about 3 1/2 hours to put this together. A word of caution for any far-sighted people such as myself putting this together, wearing bifocals and all.

The zirconium black version feels amazing, super smooth and refined. It sits in my hand like a piece of black jade,cool, dense, and silky. Add the glow ceramic beads and the spin gives off a crisp, satisfying sound. Totally worth it!

Spins perfectly smooth, just like a tiny turbine! The metallic shine looks incredible under sunlight, and even the death wobble has some real power to it. Totally love this piece!

This is the best building toy! My son told me he prefers ROKR crafts over all others. So far, I’ve purchased four ROKR wooden puzzles, including another marble run, a safe, and a pinball machine — many of which a friend described as “addictive.”
